Is AI notetaking in healthcare GDPR compliant?+
With Notuly it is. All processing runs on Dutch servers in Amsterdam; your data never leaves the EU. The audio is deleted within a minute of processing and your conversations are not used as training data. A data processing agreement (GDPR Article 28) is available on Team and above.
How does Notuly know it was a consultation?+
Notuly detects the conversation type automatically from the content and the flow of the conversation. A consultation gets sections such as points discussed and advice, a therapy session gets themes and insights, and an MDT meeting gets decisions and action points. You don't have to select anything.
Are client conversations stored?+
No. The audio is deleted within a minute of processing. The report lands in your inbox and after that it's gone from our system: Notuly keeps no archive and no database.
Do I need my client's consent?+
Yes. Informing your client is your responsibility. In practice, one sentence does the job: "I am recording this conversation so we both have a report." Most clients appreciate it.
What about NEN 7510?+
NEN 7510, the Dutch standard for information security in healthcare, applies to care organisations, not to tools. Our infrastructure supports the measures it asks for: encryption, minimal data storage, no central archive. For documentation, email team@notuly.nl.
Can the report go into our EHR?+
Yes. The report arrives by email, and, on Pro and above, as a Word file (.docx) too. You add it to the care record and remain responsible for the final version; Notuly itself keeps nothing.
Can we roll this out across a whole team?+
Yes. Team (from 2 users) gives you team management, your own templates and a data processing agreement. Enterprise (from 50 users) comes with a volume discount and a personal account manager. Get in touch for a pilot.
