In practice
The meeting is over and the decision list is due tomorrow. Notuly writes the report while you get on with the next thing.
A two-hour meeting, twenty agenda items. In a council meeting, what counts is what was decided, not who wrote it down.
A committee meeting is politically more delicate: a member says something, half retracts it and rephrases. Notuly gives you a factual base; the final version is yours to decide.
The decision list is in your inbox before you get home.

An objection, a complaint or a complex case. You listen instead of typing, and keep your attention on the person across the table.
The quick catch-up with a councillor or a director rarely gets written down either. Until there's a dispute about what was said. Now it's there in black and white, for both of you.
The full report goes straight into the file.

The audio is deleted within a minute of processing. Once your report has been sent, we no longer hold your data. What we don't keep can't leak.

Yes. Informing the participants is your responsibility. Say at the start of the meeting that you're recording; in conversations with residents, ask explicitly whether they agree. That's not our rule, it's Dutch law.
There's nothing held at Notuly to request. The audio is deleted within a minute of processing and the report sits in your own mailbox, not with us. We keep no archive of conversations.
With facts. All processing runs on Dutch servers in Amsterdam; your data never leaves the EU. Notuly runs on its own AI model. The audio is deleted within a minute of processing and all traffic is encrypted (TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest). A data processing agreement (GDPR Article 28) is available on Team and above; documentation via team@notuly.nl.
Check the report before you pass it on. Notuly is a tool; you remain responsible for the final version. The AI can miss nuances, especially when speakers correct themselves.
Yes. Team (from 2 users) gives you team management, your own templates and a data processing agreement. For volume pricing and central invoicing through purchase orders, get in touch; a pilot with a small team works too. Enterprise (from 50 users) comes with a volume discount and a personal account manager.
Yes. The full transcript comes as an attachment to the report, useful for checking that the summary is right. Do bear in mind: what's in your email can be requested.
Notuly automatically writes the report of local government meetings and consultations. You have the conversation; within ten minutes the report with the decisions and action points is in your email. Processing runs on Dutch servers, the audio is deleted within a minute of processing, and your conversations are never used as training data. A GDPR data processing agreement is available on Team and above.
Put it to the test at your next council meeting and see what lands in your email afterwards. Three conversations free, no payment details needed.

Many council and committee meetings are hybrid. Read how to take notes in a Microsoft Teams meeting, and which requirements minute-taking software should meet for procurement and the DPIA.
In late 2025 the Dutch Data Protection Authority warned about civil servants pasting sensitive files into public chatbots. Read why that goes wrong with AI tools; choosing the right AI for decision memos and the decision list deserves the same care.
