    Short answer

    Most reliable
Notuly on the device where you hear the conversation
    On the server
the System package per machine, on request from team@notuly.nl
    In the remote desktop
pass the microphone through, and run the meeting there

    On Windows.

    1. 1Request the System package from team@notuly.nl.
    2. 2Install the package on the server with cmd.exe /d /c Run-Notuly.cmd Install, in Intune with ‘Install behavior’ set to ‘System’.
    3. 3Turn on microphone redirection, with audiocapturemode:i:1 in the .rdp file or on the collection. In Remote Desktop this is off by default. The remote desktop on the server then has no microphone.
    4. 4Check on the server that the policy ‘Allow audio recording redirection’ isn’t disabled.
    5. 5Set the Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder services to Automatic. On Server 2016 they are on Manual by default.
    6. 6Run the meeting in the same remote desktop: Teams without media optimisation, or the browser. With media optimisation, Teams plays the conversation on the user’s own PC, outside the server.

    Questions.

How do I remove Notuly from the server?
With cmd.exe /d /c Run-Notuly.cmd Uninstall, the package’s uninstall command. If Notuly is still running for a user, the package returns 1618 and Intune tries again later.
Is Notuly already installed per user on the server?
Have users send their recordings first, then remove the per-user version before they open the new one.
Notuly doesn’t hear the others. How do I see why?
Under Settings, About Teams, Teams shows whether it is optimised. ‘Remote audio’ in its device list means it isn’t.
